Bio
With a Law Degree from Universidad de Chile and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard University, her career has been linked since its early stages to arbitration and dispute resolution.
She worked as a litigation lawyer at Chilean law firm Estudio Etcheberry, where she was a partner between 1994 and 2004.
Later she joined Chilean law firm Cariola Diez Pérez-Cotapos, where she was a partner between 2010 and 2016.
Between 2016 and 2024, she was the partner in charge of the litigation and arbitration department at the Chilean office of the Spanish law firm Garrigues.
Alongside her litigation practice, she began serving as an arbitrator, joining the roster of arbitrators at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago) and the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
Since July 2024 she has been working as a full-time independent arbitrator.
She has been recognized for her performance as an arbitrator in Chambers and Partners (Most in Demand Arbitrators in Chile) and in the Legal 500 (Hall of Fame).
She has also been recognized by Benchmark Litigation Chile (Nominated Litigator of the Year 2021 and 25 Best Female Litigation Lawyers in Latin America 2019), Leaders League, Who's Who Legal and Latin Lawyer (50 Inspiring Women in the Latin American Legal Profession).
